Neponset River Bridge

The goals of the Neponset River Bridge Phase II Rehabilitation Project were to improve the bridge’s structural integrity and enhance accessibility. During Phase II of the project, the concrete deck, expansion joints, sidewalks and lighting system were replaced. In addition, new ADA compliant 8′ sidewalks replaced the 4.4′ sidewalks and a new access ramp and sidewalk replaced the stairs on the Quincy side of the bridge.
